ABOUT ROBERT WUN
ROBERT WUN is a London-based Fashion label presenting storytelling collections through modern artistry and couture craftsmanship.
Born in Hong Kong, Robert graduated from London College of Fashion in 2012. After two years as a freelancer, he launched his label in London in 2014, focusing on custom-order-only collections. He is known for his sculptural silhouettes and distinctive approach to tailoring, inspired by the worlds of film and nature.
The brand staged its first runway show in Paris in January 2023, with the support of Bruno Pavlovsky, President of Fashion at CHANEL. In doing so, Robert became the first Hong Kong designer to join the Haute Couture calendar, as a guest member of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode.
Robert won the Prix Spécial at the 2022 ANDAM Fashion Awards and has been named one of the most influential figures in fashion by TIME100, Vogue Business 100, BoF 500 and Tatler Asia. He has also been awarded Designer of the Year by Tatler Asia (2024), Harper’s Bazaar China (2025) and Elle China (2025).
The brand’s collections have been acquired by leading museums worldwide, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Barbican Centre in London, the National Museum of Northern Ireland and the Asian Civilisations Museum in Singapore. It has also held a solo exhibition at the SCAD Museum in Atlanta. Robert was also commissioned by institutions like The Royal Ballet, New York City Ballet and the Hong Kong Ballet.
Having dressed artists including Beyoncé, Céline Dion, Lady Gaga, Adele, Cardi B, Florence Pugh, Cate Blanchett, Naomi Osaka and Idris Elba. He has also served as guest designer for The Hunger Games film series, collaborated with acclaimed director Wong Kar-wai, and partnered in collaborations with Johnnie Walker, Pop Mart and L’Oréal Paris.
